1.Who we are

The Stock Music is operated by Phebsoft LLC, 8 The Green, Dover, DE 19901, United States. The Stock Music is a searchable catalog of AI-generated instrumental music, where you can search, generate, download, and license tracks. Questions: info@thestockmusic.com.

2.What we collect

• Account information — when you sign up with email or Google, we collect basic profile information: your email address, name, and profile picture.
• Usage data — searches you run, tracks you download or generate, and basic device/usage information. We use this for analytics to operate and improve the service.
• Generation prompts — the text you enter to generate music.

3.How we use your information

We use your information to provide and improve the service, process your subscription and purchases, generate music, keep the service secure and prevent abuse, communicate with you about your account, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

4.Service providers and where data is processed

We store your account and library data on our own servers in the Netherlands. We use a small number of providers who process data only to run the service:

• Stripe — handles all payments. We do not receive or store any card or payment details.
• OpenAI — refines your music-generation prompt. Only the prompt is sent, anonymously, with no link to you or your account.
• Hugging Face (US) — generates the music from that prompt. It receives only the anonymous prompt, with no link to you.

Your searches are matched against the catalog on our own servers and are never sent to these providers. Only anonymous generation prompts leave our servers.

5.Cookies and analytics

We use cookies for essential functionality and, with your consent, for analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for details.

6.License certificates and verification

Each track comes with a license certificate. The public verification page shows no personal information — all identifying details are masked; it exists only to confirm a certificate is authentic. The certificate you download from your account does contain your full email address and any channel handle you added, so you can submit it in a platform dispute — you control if and where you share it.

7.Your library and account

Tracks you download or generate — including exclusive commissions — are saved to your library. You can delete your account at any time from settings. This permanently removes your account, library, and certificates, and deletes your personal data from our systems, except limited records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (such as transaction records). Deletion cannot be undone, so download anything you want to keep first.
